How long has your company been a member of WBC? G&M Services has been a member since 2018.

Why did you get involved with WBC? I wanted an opportunity to create an actual impact in the areas we serve while developing new contacts and raising G&M Services’s profile within the construction industry.

Describe WBC in 3 words: Advocacy, Action, Service

What company do you work with and what’s your role ther? I am the President / Manager (Manager-Managed LLC) of G&M Services, LLC.

What is your favorite event and why? Annual Christmas Party–It’s an opportunity to meet new folks who I normally would not interact with in my day to day functions.

What advice would you give to a new member? This Organization is built on the various contributions of its Members—the more you participate, the more you will get out of your membership.

What prior committees have you served on? I have been involved with the Small Business Committee, the Innovation Committee, and have served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Community Service Committee.

What was your biggest accomplishment serving on the board thus far? Making it on the Board!

Share one fun fact that members might not know about you: I have visited every state within the continental U.S. including the Michigan Upper Peninsula.

Favorite educational event you attended and why: The event discussing the SBA Mentor / Protégé Program was an eye-opener and has helped G&M become a Mentor in this program.

Describe your golf skills: I am a “Social golfer” with my favorite hole being the 19th hole!

Favorite Activity Outside of Work: Riding my motorcycle—it is said you never see a motorcycle outside of a psychiatrist’s office!

Favorite Place to Travel: I am a huge fan of New Orleans—I enjoy history and good food, and there just isn’t a better combination I’ve ever found anywhere else.

Describe your family, animals included: While I have never been married and don’t have any kids, I have two dogs, Ella (Fitzgerald), a Beagle, and Colt (John Coltrane), a Vizsla, who keep me on my toes. There’s nothing like the excitement of a dog when you come home at the end of the day to make you feel missed and loved!
