Directions

The offices of the Washington Building Congress are easily accessible by Metro (the closest stations are Farragut West on the Orange Line and Farragut North on the Red Line), however if you will be driving in you will want to use the following directions:

From points northwest, such as Frederick, Maryland:

Take 270 south to Interstate 495 (the Beltway) toward Virginia. From the Beltway, exit onto George Washington Parkway southeast toward D.C.

Continue southeast on the G.W. Parkway for about nine miles until you get to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (Route 50); after crossing the bridge, you will be on Constitution Avenue.

FARRAGUT NORTH METRO STATION

Continue east on Constitution Avenue for about ten blocks; turn left on 15th Street. Turn left again on I Street and right on 16th Street. WBC is at 1620 I Street, Suite 810.

From points north, such as New York, Baltimore or Delaware:

Take Interstate 95 south, following signs to Washington, D.C. Approximately 25 miles south of Baltimore, I-95 will merge with I-495 (the Beltway).

Stay to the right, following signs to 495 west, College Park and Silver Spring. Take exit 31B, Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring.

Once exiting, make sure to stay in the right hand lane; after about six blocks you will bear right onto 16th Street. Follow 16th Street south for about 15 minutes and take a left on I Street. WBC is at 1620 I Street, Suite 810.

From points south, such as Richmond and Fredericksburg:

From Richmond, take Interstate 95 north to Interstate 395 north into Washington, D.C.

Stay on 395 north, following signs for Washington and Route 1 (the 14th Street Bridge). Cross the 14th Street Bridge over the Potomac River; stay in the far left lanes.

Once across the bridge, Route 1 becomes 14th Street. Continue north on 14th Street until you reach I Street, and turn left. WBC is at 1620 I Street, Suite 810, between 16th and 17th streets.

From points west, such as as Front Royal, McLean and Tysons:

Take Route 66, following the signs to Washington, D.C. Take the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (Route 50) into Washington. Once across the bridge, Route 50 becomes Constitution Avenue.

Continue east on Constitution Avenue for about twelve blocks. Turn left on 17th Street and go eight blocks to I Street. Turn right on I Street. WBC is at 1620 I Street, Suite 810.
