Event Postponed

We have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation over the past week and the potential impact on the WBC Craftsmanship Awards banquet scheduled for Friday, March 13. The situation in our region has changed dramatically in the last 24 hours. As a result, we believe it is in the best interests of our attendees and their families to postpone the event.

Yesterday, DC Mayor Bowser placed the District under a state of emergency and issued an advisory recommending all “nonessential mass gatherings” of 1,000 or more people be postponed or canceled through March 31. The WBC awards banquet has over 1,000 attendees. Maryland Governor Hogan also canceled all travel for state employees and advised all state agencies to prepare employees for telework in order to stop the spread of the virus.

We appreciate your confidence in Washington Building Congress and look forward to a successful rescheduled 2020 Craftsmanship Awards banquet. We are currently working on a new date and will announce when confirmed.

We will be individually honoring the dedicated men and women who displayed exceptional skills in their trades over the past year.

Opening Remarks and Dinner (wine served with dinner - cash bar)

Tables seat 10 people 

$195 per person (if purchased by February 28, 2020)
$225 per person (if purchased after February 28, 2020)

Reservations must be received with payment by March 5, 2020.

CANCELATION POLICY

Fees will be refunded only if WBC receivs written notice of cancellation on or before February 28, 2020.  In the event of written cancellation, WBC will retain $50 per person of initial fee to cover administrative costs. No refunds after February 28, 2020.
