WBC Cybersecurity Panel & Networking

Thursday, February 25, 2021 (4pm - 6pm US/Eastern)
Webinar

Our panel of experts will discuss the current cybersecurity environment including escalating number, type and cost of breaches; impact on business operations and reputation; pre and post strategies to mitigate the impact of breach. Every organization that stores or handles data is at risk of a cyber-attack. As technology advances, companies are collecting, storing and transferring more data than ever before. Data breaches are becoming increasingly expensive and can lead to serious reputational damage.

Ransomware attacks and network intrusions increased by 715% in the first half of 2020, when compared against the prior year. A breach can result from a variety of factors, including attacks on networks, employee negligence, malware-infected emails or social engineering scams. Imagine loosing access to information on project design, management, specifications and billing, or unwanted access to personal employee information, bank accounts, customer information and systems.
