Presented by Smith, Currie & Hancock - Construction industry employers are particularly susceptible to claims of harassment and discrimination. Yet many do not have the necessary policies and procedures in place to address those issues. Waiting until the EEOC gets involved in order to deal with these issues on a piecemeal basis is not an effective strategy. The presentation will review 10 steps that all construction industry employers should take in order to reduce the possibility of an EEOC investigation and to set themselves up for success if an investigation arises.
