Limited to 15 WBC Members
The WBC Community Services Committee is assembling a team of volunteers for the Ronald McDonald House Feed the House event in Northern Virginia on June 14 at 4:00 p.m. This charitable opportunity is limited to 15 volunteers and will be confirmed on first come, first served basis.
WBC Feed the House volunteers will prepare and portion out home-cooked meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. During the shift, our group will follow recipes to make the meal, portion the meal into individual helpings so families can grab them on the go, and clean up the kitchen. By providing nourishment and a sense of comfort, volunteers help ease the stress of families with seriously ill children. It’s a hands-on, meaningful way to support the Ronald McDonald House mission and connect with the families they serve and your WBC colleagues.
Parking
Please park in the lot behind the house, where spaces are designated with “RMHC.” Display parking pass to be provided on your dashboard to avoid towing.
Attire
We encourage wearing attire representing your organization or company. Otherwise, please wear comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on work, closed-toed shoes, and a smile!
