THE BROADEST MEMBERSHIP BASE
Unlike other associations that represent only one facet of the industry, the WBC represents everyone – owners, developers, architects, builders, subcontractors, suppliers and professional service firms. This is the only local association where you can meet with your clients, contractors and peers in one setting.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES
Through our Fall Kickoff, Holiday Party, Golf Outing, Networking and other social functions, as well as our professional development programs and working committees, members are afforded outstanding opportunities to interact with their peers in a collegial environment. WBC has ten active committees you can get involved with and develop new contacts.

RECOGNITION & VISIBILITY FOR YOUR COMPANY
WBC is the only local organization that recognizes the individual skills of craftsmen through our annual Craftsmanship Awards Program, which is a celebration of excellent work performed in our local industry. The outstanding awards banquet is attended by over 1,000 people each year. Benefit from the credibility that comes with having your skilled workers recognized for their excellence by a highly respected professional organization.

The WBC Industry Index, the association’s membership directory, serves as the sourcebook for individuals seeking building products and services in the DC metropolitan area. It is an invaluable tool for both members and the industry at large. In addition to receiving a free copy of the reference book and full online access, members can provide short descriptions of their company’s products and/or services in the directory — essentially free advertising!!

PUBLICATIONS AND INFORMATION
The WBC Bulletin and website are devoted to the local building industry. Published bi-monthly, the Bulletin covers every facet of the industry from the latest information on upcoming seminars, industry gatherings and publications to member profiles, guest articles by our members, business announcements for our member companies, expert commentary and the latest in emerging trends and technology.

INFORMATIVE PROGRAMS
Well informed, well connected individuals succeed. The WBC can contribute to your success through a series of regularly scheduled evening programs and daytime seminars focusing on industry trends and topics such as regional development, government contracting, technology, innovation and more. WBC’s professional development programs and receptions give members insight into upcoming projects and local trends, and offer additional networking opportunities.
