Over 800 guests enjoyed the eight Builders’ Ball on November 19 at the National Building Museum. This year’s event was once again not a formal sit down affair, but instead a themed buffet dinner designed to take guests on an interactive journey of the future. All proceeds from the bi-annual Ball benefited four local charities.  Each of the main charities, Community Residences, Inc of Chantilly, Va., Georgia Avenue/Rock Creek East Family Support Collaborative of Washington, D.C. and Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic, Arlington, Va., received $50,000 and Washington Architectural Foundation’s Construction received $10,000.  For further information and a complete list of 20ll sponsors, please visit www.buildersball.org .
