Alexandria, VA  — Donohoe Construction Company celebrated the topping out of the Brandywine Living at Alexandria project yesterday with a luncheon for project team members. Located in the new Cameron Park development on 450 South Pickett Street in Alexandria, the 6-story senior living project is the first of five Brandywine Living communities planned in the Washington D.C. area.

Designed by Niles Bolton & Associates to achieve LEED Silver Certification, Brandywine Living at Alexandria will consist of 116 luxury suites that are situated above ground-floor retail. The senior living community will feature 2 levels of below grade parking, interior and exterior courtyards, a therapy pool and gym, beauty salon, movie theater, pub, outdoor patios, private dining rooms and many other building amenities designed to enhance the quality of the resident experience.
The project broke ground March 2016 and is expected to be completed in December.
