Rockville, MD – Insurance Associates is proud to announce our latest promotion: Troy Snyder, Director of Employee Benefits.
As a member of the IA team since the inception of the Employee Benefits division, Troy has been instrumental in growing this department, expanding agency capabilities, and enhancing the technology services available to clients. Troy has proven his skills in analyzing a company’s current heath objectives and needs and then advising them on a value–added solution based on his evaluation. Having worked with many employers in various industries to establish efficient cost-effective health care plans, he truly is an expert in the design of programs that control costs and enhance health care management. His consultative and personal approach enabled him to gain the trust of his clients, peers, and company representatives, which he has built upon to create lasting and strong relationships.
“I am looking forward to developing best practices and strategies for the employee benefits division as well as continuing to research the best tools and resources to support our clients,” said Snyder.
Troy attended the University of Maryland and obtained a degree in Business Management. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Frederick County Boys & Girls Club and was a past Board Member for the Frederick County Society for Human Resource Management and the State of Maryland Association of Health Underwriters. Troy resides in Frederick, Maryland with his wife Heather. He has one son and one daughter. In his spare time, Troy is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys skiing, cycling, and running marathons.
